This week is actually a very eventful week! I didn't really notice it until last night when I was going to sleep and then I started thinking of all the events that had happened this week and I felt really tired all of a sudden. Yeah, you get the point.

Anyways, let me list out all the events that had happened in and out of school: Physics lesson, PSlE results for P6s, prep. for school open house, and of course, the WSSS open house! All of these had taken a lot out of me and at the end of the day I really needed sleep.

Of course, I am really looking forward to next week too. There's a 3B BBQ party, more physics lessons (NO!!!) and of course, my li'l bro's birthday!!

Back to this weeks stuff, I had physics lesson almost everyday and had to go back to school. Then on monday (or is it tuesday?) after physics lesson there was a really heavy rain. So I went home late. Then my bro had to collect his PSLE results. Of course, The results had made my mother pretty unhappy, just like mine did too. Heheh.


Not much had happened on the day of the preparations for open house but a lot had happened during the school's open house! I had been stationed to the hall along with my NPCC buddies and not many people had come up to the hall. I think it's because of the school design though, Why have the hall on the third floor? It should be built on the second or first floor right? So that it would not be such a tiring climb up...T_T

Anyway the open house was boring but I saw many different types of people. That's a learning point, right? Uh, right??

I know that this is a very random post but there's even more random stuff coming up!

Every night I wake up after midnight and tried to get back to sleep. Then I would hear this ticking sound. Tick Tock Tick Tock. And the sound never fails to infuriate me. I would change the position of my alarm clock and the ticking sound would still persist. In the end, i gave up and went to the living room to sleep. It's all your fault, little clock.

Today shall be the day I start revising my sciences and bucking up on my work.

Why?

Because I have failed my physics and my chemistry and Biology is not that good either. So I have decided to take a 2 weeks break and then start on my sciences. REVISION ALL THE WAY!!!!

Today is the last day of SCHOOL!! Goodbye friends, goodbye teachers and most importantly, GOODBYE SCHOOL!!!! I would never ever let the extra lessons during the holidays stop me from getting extremely happy over this!! BTW, my class got the BEST CLASS AWARD!!! WOOTS!! And contratulations to Hamizah and Nigel for winning the selfless and courageous awards respectively!! 3B GOGOGO!!!

THE TROUBLE TREE

The carpenter I hired to help me restore an old farmhouse had just finished a rough day on the job. A flat tire made him lose an hour of work. His electric saw quit, and now his ancient pickup truck refused to start.

While I drove him home, he sat in stony silence.

On arriving, he invited me in to meet his family. As we walked toward the front door, he paused briefly at a tall tree, touching tips of the branches with both hands. When opening the door, he underwent an amazing transformation. His tanned face was wreathed with smiles and he hugged his two small children and gave his wife a kiss.

Afterward he walked me to the car. We passed the tree and my curiosity got the better of me. I asked him about what I had seen him do earlier.

"Oh, that's my trouble tree" he replied. "I know that I can't help having troubles on the job, but one thing's for sure. Troubles don't belong in the house with my wife and children. So I just hang them up on the tree every night when I get home. Then in the morning I pick them up again.

"Funny thing is," he smiled, "when I come out in the morning to pick 'em up, there ain't nearly as many as I remember hanging up the night before."

Oh ya, just want to relate to you an incident that happened today. I was walking home from school and stopped by a famous ice cream parlour "Macdonalds" at lot one to buy an ice cream to eat while walking home. The lady behind the counter gave me a dirty look as if I am not welcome to the shop. And worst still! She went about doing her work very very slowly and when I handed her the money she put it into the cash register EVER... SO... SLOWLY... and handed me the change EVER... SO... SLOWLY...!!!

By then I was really pissed off with the lady at the counter and couldn't enjoy my ice cream.

I really don't want to see that lady again! she ruins peoples' moods! ARGH!!

This year's ATC was so UNEVENTFUL!! On the first day, it rained. The whole day. When the rain stopped, we were only able to do 1 activity (treasure hunt) for the day before going back to the NPCC campsite. Pitch tent, blablabla and all boring stuff. Worse still, only I, and a guy, Tai Yong went for the camp.And Tai Yong is to go home on the evening of the second day, which makes me the only sec three in the camp then. T_T.

Day two. Woke up at 5.30am for PT(Physical training). Halfway through, (you know PT very tough lah) I got myself excused, making an excuse that I had headache and feel giddy(which actually I don't have=p). So I ask to go to the sick bay and the ppl there told me to sleep. So I am able to catch up on my sleep while others do their activities, but i did not miss out on a lot because apparantly, it rained while I was sleeping!And it rained and rained and rained non stop till the evening when the rain stopped and everyone was able to do jetty jump(jumping from a three metre board to the ocean below).

... ...

Ahem. I had my first experience last year during my swimming goldstar test and that was so hellish!! I swallowed lots of water! After jetty jump was bathtime. then dinner, then campfire. I guess I really screwed up in front of the sec twos in my school but that was fine. Everyone makes mistakes right? right? *stares at audience guitily*

Next was group debriefing. my group, Batu consists of students from CCK sec, Unity sec, Regent Sec, Kranji Sec and Teck Whye sec. We all reflected on what we did in the day's activities and give our comments about the group. Oh ya, i forgot to introduce Mam Siti from Teck Whye Sec. She's our group leader. After group debrief I got back to my school and we had unit debriefing. After that was tent sweet tent.

Day three. IT DID NOT RAIN AT ALL!!!! the day was perfect for all our camp activities! But that day was wasted on area cleaning and photo taking before we retire to our homesT_T

And you know what? when I got home, my bro told me that he did not record Liao Zhai at 7.00pm on saturday but instead recorded the 7.30pm show from channel U, The Legend. I had absolutely no interest in that show! except for the crown prince in the show lah (but that's because he's handsome only).

oh, and my OBS application (NPCC one not school one) was rejected cos I handed it in late and a lot of people wanted to go for this camp (yah, it's the holidays, so...). I don't mind, because being in Pulau Ubin is just so tough! Don't worry, everyone, i am back in one piece!:)

These includes gatsby, Heya and some other cheer. After that we set off to Jeram Besu for white water rafting.White water rafting =FUN

After dinner was campfire!! Loves it! And we were so well prepared for our campfire item! 3 cheers for 3B!:D Stocking up for the train trip ahead!(Includes 1 twisters tomato flavour,1 roller coaster BBQ,1 potato chips BBQ,1 bottle of 7up, 1 ribena pastelles, 2 snickers, 2 smarties chocolates)

1am. It's a snore fest as our young campers, exhausted from the day's activities, gets a good rest.

Woots! west spring band!!!

Whew. I just cut my hair yesterday. Today it's so short I have trouble tying it. Today in school actually I wsas expecting to get back my Amath and Social Studies paper. Imagine my diappointment when I was told that the papers would not be given out until further notice. Awww... Then during recess I ate a lot of chili. Whews! It was so hot after that. My tongue was burning... but actually I enjoyed that sensation cos for some reason, ever since I turned fifteen, which was not very long ago, I started to eat lots of chili. Phews.

After school I looked up Ms Soh again. And I told her that i wanted to go to the OBS and that Zubaida was promoted to an NCO. Then I said that I would be very lonely being alone in the squad. She said that she did not know that Zubaida is an NCO. Then the told me to wait for her while she collect the form for the OBS. Ahem. So plan 1 failed. What?! Was there ever a plan 1?? Nevermind. (T_T) Then I looked at the OBS form. On the health of the applicant. Severe obesity. Nope. Hypertension. Nope. Anaemia. Nope. Mitral valve with Prolapse Regurtitation. What the heck is that? Though I don't know what it is, I don't think that I am suffering from it. Elipesy. Nope. Asthma. Nope and there's a long list of sicknesses I have never heard of before. Until I came to the last one. Sleepwalking. Well, I do sleepwalk before on a few occasions. But that was only a few times! serious!

I came home at around four o' clock and quickly changed to home clothes and went to limbang to have the photos for my IC taken. Then I was supposed to choose a picture that i want and the guy will then print it out for me. I chose a picture and asked the guy to remove the pimples and stuff off my face. He said okay and enlrged my face using the Adobe Photoshop. Then he started to edit my photo. For some reason my eyes travelled to the bottom of the photo and caught something I haven't noticed before: I had a double chin! Argh! At first I was planning to buy some ice cream to eat on the way home after collecting the pictures, but then, well, I decided not to. Conscience? Hmm... ...

Today is mine, and Ruby's birthday.

Today the start of the day was pretty normal. But as I walked in to the classroom, Lwee and some others started singing the birthday song to me. Then they gave me their presents. Aww...that's so sweet. I really appreciate each and every one of them. The first lesson was physics and Ms Anisa is going. :( She gave us sweets and chocolates. Thanks for everything, Ms Anisa! After physics lesson was Bio. The bio teacher, ms chua, did not come so we had a relief teacher to take us. Um... you get the point. The school day was really as per normal. But then everything went wrong after school.

God had given me a cruel twist of fate. Once again. Zu is going to be an NCO. I really have nothing to say just that I was really happy. And sad at the same time. Probably jealous. But then I cried at the news. I am not the crying crying type but I cried a lot today. Ahem.*embarrased* I don't want to talk about this now.

Oh hey everyone, thanks a lot for the birthday messages. And as I was looking through my email, MangaFox sent me an email wishing me a happy birthday! How cool is that! Not many websites that I subscribed in ever wished me a happy birthday. Thanks a lot!

I wear a smile, but inside I am all broken... ...

Yesterday was one of the worst day of my life. First, it was NPCC day. I had to wake up at 5.30 because I was supposed to assemble in the hall by 7.00. And that was the day of the Amath paper! You know that amath was my worse subject and yet I had to go for NPCC!!! That will take a lot of my time that I could have been revising in class. Then I had to wear my NPCC uniform the whole day. When they dismissed us, I quickly ran up to my class. just in time because the teacher was handing out the exam scripts. Then it was so sweltering hot in my NPCC uniform that I had decided to change by recess- who cares if the teacher see me? I'd rather be scolded than wear the uniform all day long! It was that warm. Hmmm... when I walked past 2c, I got a shock of my life when I saw Ms Summer Soh inside...and I was not wearing my NPCC uniform. Luckily she did not see me or else i would get a scolding from her. Erm... I actually can't remember what happenned after that leh... hehehe*blushes*

Today I had my maths paper. I don't know how I will do for it though... It was pretty hard. Then my leg had swollen up so big that I had to go see a doctor yesterday. He gave me some medication and told me to apply it. Then also today almost cannot fit into the shoe cos my leg has just grown so big. urgh. Walk walk lot one for a while because i don't want to go home so early to study physics. But once I got home, I turned on the computer and haiz started blogging.And I did not study physics at all.

Wow. It's been a really, really long time since I last posted. Today I went to the library for Suzhou briefing. I found out that I was the only sec 3 going for the trip and decided to opt out of it. Umm, yah. I'm only doing this for the sake of posting... so byes!

Exams are over! Hurrahs!

Today I went to Lot One cinema with my zhe zhe and mei mei. I wore home clothes under my school uniform and actually I and Shi Yun and Yvonne were going to watch CJ7 together. After schoo, I net them in the library and Samson wanted to join us until the LRT. When we walked out of the school gates Shi Yun and Yvonne went totally crazy and they took out their school uniform right in front of a group of school boys! O.O!! Of course they were wearing a shirt inside lah. Then we went to a bench opposite the school and I took out my clothes because it was so DAMN WARM!! Imagine having to wear two layers of T-shirt for like, 5 hours?

After that we walked to the LRT and met Jill, Wendy and Si Min. They were on their way to watch Death Note: L change the world. in the cinema. So we joined them, Shi Yun, Yvonne and I wearing home clothes and Jill, Wendy and Si Min wearing their school uniform. The show starts at two, and we reached there pretty early. Then we went to buy the tickets which costs a lucky number of $8!! Then we went shopping in the nearby comic shops and Mini Toons and bought some sweets to smuggle into the cinema. Then a long series of advertisements before the show starts. It was quite an exciting show, with the main character, L, burned a Death Note after signing a contract with the God Of Death that he would die in 23 days.

There was a virus that was designed to kill humans and L(the sweet tooth guy, who holds things in a very pecular manner) was called in to the case. Together with two kids they tracked down the maker of the virus. I like L's style of solving mysteries with his calm(expressionless) and never panicky way and he seems to know what the villains are thinking. But then, in the end he is still gonna die. Sad I did not see how he dies. Anyway, If I were to recommend the movie, I would rate 4 stars. It's pretty good. For more details, see this website.
